Resurrection of Norton?
Some have tried but no one has succeeded. About ten years ago they have put a Japanese engine in it, later an American but unfortunately no manufacturer was able to give a decent rebirth to the legendary Norton motorcycle.
David Mucci designer has not built a prototype and he’s not trying to produce them in his non-existent motorcycle factory, he’s only had a dream and he'd thought it might could live up to the extinct legend, the Norton Manx. The plans made up on the computer are clearly of an ultra modern design, yet it expresses all the tradition and pristine fame to the last bone.
The large rim disc brakes and the prolapse proof front suspension makes sure about the racing look of the bike which shows that the designer was dreaming in terms of the café racer cult.
There is no news about the Norton being brought back alive but we sure wouldn’t mind sitting one like this in our garage.
