I have an electrical problem with my Kawasaki ZZR600, year 93, E2 UK model. I've just bought it, it was running fine so far but now as soon as I turn the key the ignition fuse blows. I don't know much about electrics can someone help me please?

That could be anything man but it's probably an earthing problem. Since the bike was running ok before i suggest you check out your starter relay.
It's kinda round and it's got the bike's main fuse (30AMP) on it under a small red cover. It should have 4 connector pins (cable terminal) and 2 connector bolts (starter terminals) on it. Disconnect all the cables and remove the starter relay.
Now switch your tester to ohmmeter position and connect it to the starter terminals (the 2 bolts). Next get a 12V battery (you can use the one in your bike) and connect a jumper lead (or a piece of cable) to the negative side of the battery, than touch the other end to the cable terminal but make sure you touch it where the BLACK/YELLOW cable was connected. Than get the other jumper lead (or piece of cable), connect it to the battery's positive side and touch the other end again to the cable terminal where the YELLOW/RED cable was connected.
You should hear a clicking sound and your ohmmeter should display zero resistance (0 ohms). Then disconnect the positive end from the yellow/red side and check the ohmmeter. You should read "I" (infinite resistance).
If the readings are anything else change your starter relay 'cos it's crap.
if this doesn't solve the problem then better take the Kawa down to a workshop 'cos if you don't know about electrics you'll never find the fault and even can cause more damage to the bike.
Good luck mate!
