Here's a few tips for checking your bike out before you ride out your garage:

1. Check your oil and other fluid levels
2. Check your controls whether they operate properly (ie. Front and rear brakes, throttle, clutch and the gear shifter)
3. Check the steering for smooth operation by turning the handlebar each way.
4. While you’re sitting on the bike you might as well check your mirrors whether they’re adjusted properly
5. Check the tire pressure and inspect the tires for ware and damage
6. Check for any fuel, oil or hydraulic fluid leaks
7. Inspect the drive belt/chain and sprocket
8. Inspect the brakes
9. Check your headlights, indicators, tail light and brake light
10. If your battery is not a sealed unit or a gel battery then check fluid levels at least every 2500 miles but in warm weather conditions do it more often
